I'm Groovy,Yaah

I was watching a wedding programme at the weekend on Pakistan’s Prime TV. It briefly profiled actor Ayyaz Ahmed’s (sorry if I got the name wrong!) marriage. In it, his wife mentioned that do not marry just because you love the person because love is temporary,’ in one of those groovy wannabe American accents.

Do you agree with that statement? I thought love was a big reason…

I believe in God

If I had any doubt in the existence of the Almighty beforehand, it has all vanished.
The past few months have contained an emotional and tireless baggage that I have had to so needlessly drag… And now I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Though the ‘stuff’ has not yet ended, the drain has suddenly eased and it seems I may now be able to carry on with my life as before.

What a feeling. Allah certainly works in mysterious ways. A very heartwarming thank you to you for all your duas (you all know who you are).

And thank you Allah.

Bastards

Made the mistake of going to Manchester Airport yesterday. In the wake of all these terror arrests, the airport commanded a heavy police presence… Well at the approach to a roundabout a police officer stopped me and asked me to park at a layby off the roundabout. There were tons of officers at the layby, and all the time I’m thinkin shit they think I’m a terrorist, fuck!

The good news was they didn’t think I was a terrorist.

The bad news was they got me for my number plate. I got a private number plate on my Paro that by tweaking the letter ‘T’ spells my name. Even tho I had a legal set of plates ready to go on in my boot, they still gave me a fine.

Barstards.
